Blog! Quick!

Milo is stirring in his vibrating chair, Huck is running towards . . . whoops he's here! Okay, I've turned on PBS, so I have a few minutes.
Life with two under two ain't easy. Milo is chilling out, though. Less fussy, but still bursts into a scream now and again. I haven't posted pictures because, well, he's just not looking so cute lately. Poor guy has had the infant acne, cradle cap between the eyebrows and and a receding hairline. Male pattern baldness. Good news is that the cradle cap is clearing up, a small line of hair seems to be growing back into his bald patch and I think some of the "acne" was actually an allergic reaction to my coffee. I haven't had it in two days and his skin is dramatically better. Anyway, now that he's looking better, I'll post pictures of poor, ugly Milo soon along side of some cute ones.
What else is going on? Bedtime is a crap shoot. Some nights it's not too bad, some nights it's terrible. Milo does really well once you finally manage to get him to sleep, though. The tough part is that he doesn't fall asleep nursing. He will get just to the edge of sleep, and then wake up and scream. Usually he has to burp and spit up (he is very burpy), but by that point he is awake again and has to be rocked down. Sometimes it happens quickly, sometimes it takes hours. The good news is that he will stay asleep for a good 4-6 hour stretch, nurse, then sleep again until morning. So I only have to wake once at night with him. Some nights Huck wanders into our bed around midnight, other times he won't join us until just before Steve has to get up for work. Those nights are the best.
My Lily Padz came in yesterday! I bit the bullet and spent the $20, and the verdict is I LOVE them! If you are breastfeeding I definitely recommend them. If you are going to a baby shower and need a gift for a mom who plans to breastfeed, this is what you should buy her. If you want to surprise your pregnant or nursing wife with a gift that says, "I was thinking of your breasts today," this is the product for you. I wish I had known about them the first time around.
Milo is waking up. I wrote this post instead of taking a shower today. I hope you're happy!

Hhahaha thanks for updating us instead of taking a shower :). Glad that they don't have scratch and sniff monitor (patent pending, my husband try to sell that idea).

Anyway, glad everything is okay with you guys. I wonder how hard it is the transition from 1 kid to 2? I heard that once you got 1 to 2 transition under control, 2 to 3, 4, 5, 6 will be much easier.

Good luck!! :) and yeah pictures pleaseeeee
